What is SHARE or Shift Auction Hospitality and Restaurant Employee fund?

The SHARE Fund is a program developed out of the Shift Auction User Relief account. This fund provides one- time grants of up to $500 to support hospitality & restaurant employees facing unforeseen hardships due to COVID- 19 this holiday season. Grants will be provided to help cover rent, food, utilities and gifts. While we are new in the community, we have been in your shoes and are here to help.

HOW DO I APPLY?

  1. Fill out the online application completely by registering an account here. (You will be provided a link in your profile to submit the Proof documents)

  2. Upload Articles of Proof documentation to your profile (document folders can be hidden from public view):

           a. County residency (Valid Indiana Driver’s License, State ID, or utility bill combined with a school photo ID)

           b. Verify your work history, by visiting this link

               *note: As a last resort, you may upload a pay stub from the most recent hospitality or foodservice establishment where you are/were employed if you are unable to verify your work history.

           c. Debt statement (copy of rent/mortgage eviction notice, delinquent utility bill(s), credit card notices etc.)

  1. All applications meeting our criteria will be reviewed and evaluated

  2. Depending on funding, select applicants will be given one time grants up to $500. Awardees will be notified via the Shift Auction platform. The grant funds will be deposited into the account the applicant created in step 1.

HOW WILL APPLICATIONS BE EVALUATED?

Every application will be verified and reviewed by our executive team. Awardees will be selected based on the eligibility requirements. All awardees of The SHARE Fund decisions are final.

Awardees will be notified and paid on the Shift Auction platform. We anticipate a large number of applications for assistance and not all of our applicants will be guaranteed grants.

Applications will be reviewed in the order they are received. Failure to provide the necessary information may result in the withdrawal of the application.

WHERE DOES THE FUNDING COME FROM?

Funding comes from a variety of sources such as the Shift Auction User Relief Fund, individual donors, and corporate partnerships.
